Machaca
Ingredients
5 lbs of meat (beef or plant based)
8 ripe @sunnycalfarms apricots, pitted and chopped
1 red onion, chopped
1 jalapeño, 2 habanero, 2 Serrano peppers, chopped
12 cloves garlic, minced
5 Tbsp Red Chone Hot Sauce
2 Tbsp avocado oil
1 Tbsp ground cumin, 1 Tbsp dried oregano, 1/2 Tbsp ground coriander, 1/2 Tbsp sea salt, 1/2 Tbsp ground black pepper
1 cup water
How to Make It
Put all ingredients in a large Crock Pot and cook on high for 8 hours
Shred meat with two forks in the Crock Pot and let simmer in juices for 30 minutes on low
Serve with beans, rice, tortillas and additional Red Chone
